I am a professional travel consultant who has spent money and time to acquire the expertise to plan and arrange a European vacation customized just for you. If you employ me to work for you, I expect reasonable compensation for the time I will spend working for you and for using my expertise on your behalf. Just as you would pay a doctor, a lawyer, or an accountant for their services, you will need to pay me for my services in the form of a trip planning fee or booking fees. In return, you will benefit from my years of experience and knowledge of European destinations, and I will spend my time working for you.

Will paying me make your trip more expensive? The answer is "no" if you realize that the cost of something depends on how well it meets your expectations of quality. If you want to buy a car, a Chevy is probably cheaper than a Cadillac. But are you getting the same value from a Chevy as from a Cadillac?

If your goal is just to have the cheapest trip possible, then I can sell you a trip whose sole criterion is cheapness. In that case, paying for my services will add somewhat to the cost of your trip, but you will be paying me for the time I spend to find the least cost trip option. If all you want is cheap travel and your time has no value, you might as well do all the research yourself, book your own arrangements, and hope for the best. Or, you can pay me to do the work of planning and arranging a budget trip.

If what you want is a trip that meets other needs, such as to have a romantic, carefree honeymoon, and you want all your trip memories to be good ones, then taking advantage of my services will not make your trip more expensive, only more satisfying. You won't have to spend your valuable time doing the research necessary to come up to speed on destination alternatives. You will have an expert's advice on how the alternatives compare. You will have the use of my time to find you the best deals that match your needs and to make the arrangements for you. I will work for you so you have a truly memorable trip.

For a $500 fee,* I will help you find your European dream destination, plan your itinerary, select accommodations that meet your needs and desires, and tell you about the attractions most appealing to you. We'll start by talking about your European travel dreams. Then I'll do some research and offer suggestions before I finalize a personal itinerary that suits your dreams and your budget.

The trip planning fee is payable up-front as a "plan to go fee." It is non-refundable. If you go on the trip as proposed in your work contract with Travel Experience Consulting, then the fee is applied towards the final cost of your trip. If you cancel, the fee is forfeited.

To pay the trip planning fee, fill out the Credit Card Authorization and Work Contract form and return it as indicated below.

If you already know where you want to go, how you want to get there, what you want to do, and where you want to stay, you may not wish to use the full trip planning service. In that case, I can arrange your airline tickets, rail passes, car rentals, hotel, B&B, farmstay, villa, condominium, or apartment reservations, tour bookings, theater tickets, tour, cruise, etc. I charge a non-refundable booking fee payable in advance as follows:
