This adults only,* all Junior
Suites hotel, is located on a beautiful stretch of beach
approximately one hour from Cancun. This all-inclusive
resort is the perfect size with only 135 suites in 2-storey
buildings. All meals are offered a la carte and offer
a wide selection of choices. This is a perfect resort
for those who want to kick back and relax but also offers
plenty of activities.

El Dorado Seaside Suites is a
secluded all inclusive resort for adults
only. Located in Kantenah Bay Riviera Maya,
the resort is surrounded by 500 acres of unspoiled tropical
jungle, on over one mile of a beachfront coconut plantations
and in from one of the most striking coral reefs in
the world. This resort consists of several small one
and two story buildings, with 3 to 12 junior suites
in each, many with private Jacuzzi, ocean view, and
bright Mexican colors. It has 2 full villas for non
smoking guests. Last renovation: 2001
The beach in front of the hotel
is a natural coral reef and is great for snorkeling.
There is a modest section of beach that is suited for
swimming and other water activities.
1 hour from airport; 25 minutes
south of Playa del Carmen, 10 minutes south from the
natural aquarium of Xel – Ha, 20 minutes south
of the Ecological Park Xcaret, 25 minutes north from
the ruins of Tulum, only a few minutes from the “Puerto
Aventuras Golf Club" and numerous wonderful Cenotes.
*The
El Dorado Resort is an adults only resort. You must
be at least 18 years old to stay there.

Room
Categories and Descriptions
The El Dorado Seaside Suites
consists of 133 Junior Suites distributed in two story
buildings. Unlike most other resorts in the area, our
resort runs parallel to the beach, affording each room
easy access to the beach, which is literally just a
few steps away.
All of the Junior Suites are
decorated in a blend of contemporary and authentic Mexican
style, and come with marble or Mexican title floors.
The furniture is made of local wood which gives a friendly
and visually appealing atmosphere to the accommodations.
The Junior Suites are available
in four categories, including 25 Garden View Junior
Suites that give view to the lush foliage of the property;
14 Ocean View Junior Suites that have lovely views of
the Mexican Caribbean sea; 42 Ocean Front Junior Suites
which directly face the beach; and 52 Jacuzzi Suites,
all of which feature either interior or exterior hot
tubs and have direct beach access and spectacular views
of the Caribbean. Every Suite has a terrace with a hammock
and chairs.
Junior
Suite Superior - One
king-sized bed or two double beds, partial ocean, garden
or coconut palm tree views. Directly to the right of
the main lobby.
Ocean
View Junior Suites - One king-sized bed or
two double beds, unobstructed views of the Caribbean
and directly on the beach. Located directly to the left
and right of the main lobby. Some of these units are
located on the north beach, secluded and next to the
El Dorado Spa building.
Jacuzzi
Junior Suites - One
king-sized bed or two double beds, hairdryer, coffee
maker, a Jacuzzi for 2 persons either on the balcony
or inside the unit in the balcony. To the right end
of the resort with direct access to the beach.
All Jr. Suites have individually
controlled air conditioning, ceiling fan, king size
or double bed, private bath, shower, color satellite
TV, DVD player, mini-bar, coffee maker, hair dryer,
safety deposit box, a living room area with sofa, a
private terrace with a hammockt. Non-smoking rooms are
available upon request.
Another amenity to enjoy while
enjoying the room is the 24-hour room service. It is
great for those days or evening when you just don’t
feel like getting out of bed, or for late night cravings.
And you don’t have to feel guilty because it’s
part of the all inclusive.
Check in is at 3:00 pm and check
out at 1:00 pm.
Non-smoking rooms are available
upon request, subject to availability.
Dining
A variety of options awaits. None,
however, include buffet lines. All three restaurants serve
a’ la carte only.
Restaurante
La Carreta - La Carreta
prepares authentic Mexican fare. From traditional Mexican
favorites such as Tacos, Enchiladas and Steak Arrachera
to more exotic dishes such as Huitlacoche and Nopales,
La Carreta is always a great choice for dinner. Reservations
are required, but the restaurant has a beautiful new
bar – La Cantina- with a selection of International
brands and exceptional Margaritas. Due to popular demand,
reservations are required. But there are several seating
times between 5:30 PM and 10 PM.
Restaurante
Los Arrifices - Arrecifes serves international
cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as snacks
throughout the day. It has a daily changing chef’s
menu. Continental breakfast is served from 06:00 AM
to 07:00 AM and 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. A’ la Carte
breakfast is served from 07:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A’
la Carte lunch and specialty dinner are served from
12:30 PM to 4:00 PM and from 05:30 PM to 10:30 PM, respectively.
Klay
Talay Restaurant -
Klay Talay is Thai and means “by the seaside.”
Quite fitting for a sea view Asian restaurant. It blends
a variety of Asian styles into a fine fusion of Oriental
cuisine. It is open for dinner between 5:30 PM and 10
PM. Reservations are required.
The
Bars
The bars include The Snack Bar,
serving snacks at different times of day and night.
Las Guacamayas is the famous bar with swings. Located
next to Los Arrecifes, it is the perfect place to hang
out with friends after a long day of exhausting beach
activities. It opens from 10:00 AM to 2:00 AM.
The Arrecifes swim-up bar is
a lively pool bar, great for enjoying all kinds of drinks
while staying cool in the pool. It opens from 9:00 AM
to 6:00 PM.
Los Cotorros is another bar with
swings. It opens from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
La Cantina is our signature Tequila
bar with a wide selection of Tequilas and other premium
drinks. It is located inside the La Carreta restaurant
and is open from 05:30 PM to 11:00 PM.
In the afternoon, between 4:00
and 6:00 PM the El Dorado Seaside Resort has "Tea
Time" for afternoon tea, coffee and pastries service
at the Guacamayas Bar.
The Guacamayas Lounge is a contemporary
seaside lounge with a great atmosphere and cool music,
offering soothing views of the sea. You may sit or recline
in one of the lounge cabanas and drift off under the
stars and the coconut trees. Enjoy it between the cool
hours of 10:00 PM and 2:00 AM.
Room Service - The 24 hour room
service menu includes a wide range of popular dishes.
